This project is a definitive case study in creating the ultimate indoor-outdoor living experience. In a climate like Dubai’s, the ability to create functional, beautiful, and weather-protected outdoor spaces is paramount. By strategically integrating a Renson pergola with integrated blinds with Origin’s high-performing folding doors, we transformed a standard patio into a year-round extension of the home’s living area – a nice hub for family gatherings and sophisticated entertaining.

To realise this vision, a suite of complementary products was meticulously selected and installed:

Renson Camargue Skye Pergola

The Renson Camargue, a fully retractable and rotatable louvred pergola, was installed over the 6m x 2.6m barbecue area. The pergola features integrated lighting, which is perfect for evening use. The retractable and rotatable louvred roof, which can be further customised with rain and wind sensors, offers ultimate adaptability and comfort, allowing homeowners to adjust sun and rain exposure to their needs.

Renson Outdoor Blinds

White motorised outdoor blinds in a durable fibreglass fabric (Sergé SC0202) were seamlessly integrated into the pergola structure, creating a clean, cohesive look. The blinds offer privacy and shield against low-angle sunlight, further enhancing the cooling effect of the pergola’s shade.

Origin Folding Doors

High-performance folding doors were installed to connect the villa’s living room with the newly enhanced barbecue area. Constructed from premium aluminium and manufactured in Britain by Origin, these doors completely open up the living area, making it one space with the barbecue area when required. In the hotter months, the bifolds seal the home effectively with weather-tight gaskets that provide exceptional thermal efficiency and protection from sand and dust. The link to the outdoors remains constant even when the doors are closed, thanks to the expansive glass panels.

Inotherm Front Door

The entrance area on the opposite side of the villa was enhanced with an Inotherm front door (model AAE 1709) in a bold Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016). This high-end door provides an immediate aesthetic upgrade to the villa’s entrance, while its robust construction significantly enhances the home’s security and thermal efficiency.
