Oryx was contacted by a new client in JVC Dubai, who wanted to take full advantage of their home’s beautifully landscaped garden and swimming pool. Having chosen Origin’s 3 leaf folding doors, the installation completely opened one side of the property, simultaneously extending the living space in both the lounge and the kitchen.

The client, Paula Bellamy, took full advantage of the bespoke options available at Oryx, working with the designers on a dual-coloured aluminium frame option, which was white on the outside to complement the villa’s existing exterior, and a stylish grey on the inside to match the kitchen units. They also opted for triple-glazed glass throughout, to help soundproof the property, creating a quiet haven when the doors are closed and a fabulous open-plan living area when open.

The terrace now serves as the perfect place to relax with the family – which the client truly appreciates after a busy day at work. At the same time, the open kitchen now offers a luxurious venue to enjoy al fresco dining and entertain friends.
Oryx later installed folding sliding doors on the client’s balcony, so that they could enjoy the fresh air from the comfort of their home, upstairs or down, adding a complementary touch to the exterior view of the villa.
