Embracing the outdoors and living al fresco is quite simply a way of life for many New Zealanders. And with folding sliding doors already installed at their home in New Zealand, Bill and Bernadette Graham turned to Oryx to help them install some in their Dubai villa.

As property owners, the clients had their own list of priorities for the installation – not only did the doors have to look good and be in keeping with their home – they needed to offer versatility and more importantly add value to the property. The final project was to install two sets of folding sliding doors and a French door set. After discussing options with our specialists, the couple opted for Walnut-colour frames and handles to match the existing door and window frames of the villa.

The new doors open up the living space onto the pool area and to the stunning newly landscaped garden – flooding their home with light and creating an outdoor feel – while making the most of the surrounding views of the 11th fairway of the ‘Earth Course’ at Jumeirah Golf Estates.

The installation has immediately made a huge and positive impact on the way Graham’s live and entertain, and friends and family have been quick to voice their approval. The clients themselves were so impressed with the final product and the level of service they received from Oryx’s team that they will also be looking to install similar doors in their villa in Croatia this year.
