This award-winning villa, crafted by Grounded Design, vividly demonstrates how jumbo sized glass doors can create a striking “wall of glass,” seamlessly integrating the villa’s airy interior with its beautiful outdoor scenery. In this case, the view is of a private pool and a pristine golf green, and, thanks to the huge glass door panels, the landscape has become a natural extension of the home’s living space.
Fusion Sliding Doors
Fusion’s Series 2 sliding doors, with their ultra-slim 26mm sightlines, were essential to the project’s success. They minimise the frame’s visual profile, seamlessly blending the boundary between the living room and the breathtaking outdoor scenery to create a truly immersive experience. On this side of the villa, facing the pool, three sets of jumbo sized glass doors are installed, the largest measuring 5.2 meters wide. This glass wall is complemented by the first-floor façade, which features two sets of sliding doors and fixed windows.

Why Fusion Sliding Doors?
Fusion sliding doors offer outstanding thermal and acoustic performance, even across such expansive glass surfaces. This system ensures the home remains a tranquil, comfortable sanctuary, shielded from external noise and weather without compromising the view.
Pivoting Front Doors
The opposite side of the home showcases a striking Oryx creation: a monumental 6-square-meter pivoting door rendered in Light Oak wood. It’s framed by a 2.8-meter fixed panel above and fixed curtain walls on the sides, commanding an impressive entrance. The warm tone of the light oak panel complements the surrounding architecture and savannah-like landscape, while the pivot mechanism ensures smooth operation despite the door’s size, and an integrated fingerprint lock enhances modern security and keyless access.
