Converting a set of windows into doors is an easy way to breathe new life into a small living space. When the Hamish family from Arabian Ranches, Dubai, came to us, they were excited to learn about the new possibilities for their family room featuring 2 new sets of Origin single doors as a replacement for the previously installed doors with thick frames that were limiting the amount of light flowing into the space.

By using slimmer a profile system for the new single doors, the indoor living area now looks and feels more spacious and the family can easily access the patio for some much-needed fresh air. The practical change could be made without affecting the structural integrity of the building, meaning the approval process with community management was swift and hassle-free.

As a finishing touch for better functionality, the new doors were fitted with Freedom insect screens which are barely visible when closed and offer superior protection from annoying flies and mosquitoes.
