Visit Bungalo34 at the Pearl Jumeirah to see the folding doors installed by Oryx.

The latest and most exclusive addition to the Tashas chain, Bungalo34 is a trendy Mediterranean-style restaurant located on the white sandy beaches of Pearl Jumeirah Island. It is one of the many projects that we have worked on for Tashas Group, including Avli by Tashas in DIFC.

Having been inspired in design by one of the owner’s Mediterranean Riviera homes, this restaurant has many personal touches, all contributing to the finished look and feel of effortless glamour. Because of these features, including the folding doors that allow the restaurant to pour out onto the beach, this space has been described as a place where nostalgia and sophistication are garnished with unobstructed seaside views.

We installed 3 sets of Fusion folding doors together with curtain wall above for additional structural stability. Judging from the projects we had completed for Tashas in the past, we knew that the customer was looking for a door solution that was flexible enough for seamless integration with the surrounding structure, customizable to fit in with the interior design concept, all while being durable enough to resistant to the harsh seaside weather.

This time around, the brief required folding doors instead of sliding doors so that the restaurant could be fully exposed to the beach in the cooler months and protected from the heat during the harsh summers.

Whether it is breakfast on the terrace, a long and memorable lunch in the sun with family and friends, or a calm al fresco dinner, this is the perfect place to spend the weekend or visit with guests.
