When award-winning interior design and bespoke furniture company Zen interiors wanted to showcase their transformational design prowess, Oryx was a natural partner. Like Zen, we are passionate about good design and delivering a personalised service to every project we take on.

The project in question was to design and install an extensive Folding Sliding Doors system which would completely open up the entire exterior wall of a modern two-storey villa in Jumeirah.

Zen’s vision was to create an open-plan lounge and dining area, which would blend seamlessly with the outside poolside living space. Oryx responded to the brief by installing a 10-leaf Folding Sliding Door system with a concealed running system in crisp white aluminium with matching handles to add to the property’s minimal aesthetic. The frames are manufactured by Origin from high-grade, durable, ultra-slim aluminium, which means they glide effortlessly open to rest at the side of the property, giving unencumbered access to the villa’s exterior.

And as well as looking good, the frames require no periodic maintenance, conform to the latest safety standards and they include a 10-year guarantee, providing the necessary quality assurance needed for Zen on a turnkey project such as this.
