Phased Modernisation with Aluminium and Steel Doors
Multi-Staged Home Improvement in Green Community East – DIP
This project demonstrates the value of a phased renovation approach and highlights the versatility of the Oryx product range. The structured approach allowed us to meet our customers’ evolving needs over time – first by addressing the critical connection to the outdoors, and later by refining the interior living area with a contemporary design solution.
Combining Fusion and Origin Doors
In phase 1 of the home improvement project, we replaced the external doors, starting with Fusion sliding doors in the living room and Origin French doors in the dining area. The 3-track sliding system is a Fusion Series 2 model, designed to handle large glass panels up to 4 meters high with ease. As the black frames slide open to the garden, their white outer frames, chosen to meet community standards, become visible. The sliding doors also feature an integrated Freedom insect screen that can be opened to enjoy the cool, fresh evening or winter breeze without letting in annoying bugs. The French doors, which also feature dual-colour frames, similarly enhance the dining area by providing unobstructed access to the outdoors.
Inotherm Front Door
The homeowner selected a timeless touch for the villa’s front entrance, with a rich dark brown (RAL 8022) Inotherm Front Door in Model AGE 1015. Its innovative features, including the biometric door-opening system, enhance the villa’s aesthetic, blending the traditional look with modern sophistication.

Phase 2 with OTIF Glass and Steel Doors
Phase 2 of this transformation centred on elegant interior space division. Prior to installing the OTIF steel doors, the kitchen remained open on both ends, connecting to the dining room and hallway. To maintain that sense of connection, the customer chose sleek pivoting double doors with clear glass, allowing light to flow freely between the spaces while defining separate zones. The slender, textured black steel frames introduce a touch of luxury, beautifully complementing the home’s interior palette. They artfully echo the black cabinetry in the kitchen and the black accents dispersed throughout the living and dining areas, creating a harmonious and sophisticated visual flow.
